Can I do a mild carp here? I am troubled by the bad semantics of the term "organic" foods. Like it or not, all foods are "organic". What we term "organic" foods might better be described as non-synthetically raised or perhaps "naturally raised."

By me, the problem with Wal-Mart's -- or Whole Foods', for that matter -- venture is that whatever foods show up are going to be mass produced, picked early & less flavorful than Locally produced foods. I vote for Local
every time, because the flavor is what matters! First choice in produce -- stuff from my garden (or apricots I pick from the tree down the street that has branches hanging over the sidewalk.) Next -- what I can buy at the local Farmer's Market. Third, all else.
